Lodz photography journey

I visited Lodz, and discover  a beautiful city with unique architecture, interesting history ,vibrant culture, arty and tasty. Saying Lodz and immediately thinking about the life of the big Jewish community before the holocaust and the death after.  a visual journey to the present city with a past.

I love visiting old factories so Lodz was a perfect location.
It was known as the "Textile Capital" of Poland, and a home to numerous textile factories.
today the special buildings are transformed
beautifully into  malls, apartments, offices, and cultural spaces.
giving new life to the city's industrial heritage.

graffiti is the best way to learn about city's vibe .I found throughout the city art with many Jewish elements, paying homage to the significant Jewish population . From colorful Jews to memorials to those lost in the Holocaust. even Israeli artists like DeDe and Nitzan Mintz created here .it looks that the street art in Lodz is a powerful reminder of the city's past .

after the cemetery you need something comforting and polish food like pierogi or kielbasa, really helps to digest and bring back to life its tasty and known for traditional preparation methods.
